Usually easy to fix: our processor (Stripe) sometimes flags legitimate B2B transactions as a security measure, especially first-time transactions, business cards, international cards, higher-value orders, and Capital One cards. "Insufficient funds" errors are often really fraud-detection blocks.
Call your bank (fastest fix). Tell them you're making a legitimate business purchase at Branvas, ask them to approve it, and confirm your billing address matches their records. Capital One usually requires this call.
Retry after 15–30 minutes, entering the billing address exactly as it appears on your statement.
Try a different card if it persists. You can switch back to your preferred card later.
Still stuck? Message our customer support in chat with a screenshot of the error, card type, bank name, and whether you've called your bank. We escalate to Stripe and usually resolve within 24–48 hours.
After several failed attempts, stop retrying (it triggers more security flags), clear fraud alerts with your bank, and wait an hour. For time-sensitive orders, contact us; we may be able to process the order and collect payment separately.
