Out of stock and restocking: how availability works

Branvas doesn't publish stock counts; if an item can be added to an order it's in stock, and mass sold-out issues are usually a store-side setting.

Branvas doesn't publish stock quantities. The reliable test: if an item can be added to an order, it's in stock. The inventory number on Branvas products in your Shopify admin (often 1,000) is a placeholder; don't change it manually. When a product goes out of stock temporarily, we set its inventory to 0 so customers can't order it.

If most of your products suddenly show "Sold out", it's almost always a store-side setting, not real stock. Check in order: (1) the products are still inside the Branvas shipping profile in Shopify, since being moved out of it makes them show out of stock; (2) reset the shipping setting from Connect Store → Change → Save and publish to store; (3) in the product's Shopify Inventory section, Track quantity on, Continue selling when out of stock off; (4) the product is assigned to an active location; (5) each variant's settings match.

Restocks: no guaranteed dates, no reservations. Items simply become available again and sync through the app, so recheck the catalog. If a piece has been unavailable a long time, email [email protected].

If a product is permanently discontinued, we remove it from your store and from the Branvas catalog.
