Does the jewelry tarnish? Plating, testing, hypoallergenic, and daily wear

Branvas jewelry has real gold plating with anti-tarnish coating, is nickel-free and lead-free, and is safe for everyday wear if kept away from water.

Branvas pieces are made for everyday wear. The gold plating is real gold applied by an eco-friendly electroplating process and finished with an anti-tarnish e-coating. All pieces are nickel-free and lead-free.

Plating thickness and testing: we do not publish plating thickness in microns, and we do not hold sweat, salt-spray, or wear-resistance test reports for the catalog. If you need verified data for your listings, we can arrange a paid inspection report for specific products (see Material certificates, test reports & compliance documents).

Marketing claims: you can safely state that pieces are nickel-free and lead-free. Before using the word "hypoallergenic," check how the claim is regulated in your markets; responsibility for your listing copy sits with you.

Water and daily care: advise customers to remove jewelry before showering or swimming; water, soap, and chlorine shorten the life of any plated finish. Every package includes a care instruction (on the Thank You card), polishing cloth, and velvet storage pouch. For customers who will get their jewelry wet, the stainless Steel Edit line is the collection to look at. The catalog has a Waterproof filter that surfaces stainless pieces suited to daily water exposure.

Constant 24/7 wear: we won't put a number on it; it depends on skin chemistry, climate, and habits.
