Customs and duty: nothing extra to pay. All shipments are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): the $8.99 flat rate covers customs clearance and duty, so your customers never face surprise fees at delivery.

Enabling a new country: in Shopify admin go to Markets → Add market, select the country, save. The Branvas shipping profile picks it up automatically; manage pricing, currency, and duties per market in Shopify's Markets settings.

Phone numbers are required for delivery outside the U.S. and U.K. Carriers and customs use them for notifications, clearance, and delivery issues; a missing number can hold, fail, or return a shipment. In Shopify: Settings → Checkout → Shipping address phone number → Required → Save. Then place a test order to confirm the field shows as required.
