Why is my first order taking longer than expected?

If you're a Growth, Scale, or VIP member placing your first branded order, you'll notice it takes a bit longer than our standard shipping timeframe. Here's why - and what to expect going forward.


Why the delay?

Your first order requires an additional 3-5 business days beyond our standard fulfillment time. This extra time is needed to create your custom branded materials from scratch.

Here's what we're producing specifically for your brand:

  • Custom outer boxes with your logo

  • Branded jewelry boxes

  • Quality control and approval of all branded materials

This is a one-time setup process. We're essentially creating your brand's entire physical identity and ensuring everything looks perfect before it reaches your customers (or you).


What's the total timeline for my first order?

Here's the complete breakdown:

For your first branded order:

  • 3-5 business days: Branded materials production

  • 24-48 hours: Order processing and packaging

  • 3-12 business days: Shipping (varies by destination)

Example timeline to the United States:

  • Production: 3-5 days

  • Processing: 1-2 days

  • Shipping: 5-8 days

  • Total: 9-15 business days from order placement


Will all my orders take this long?

No! This delay only affects your first order.

Once your branded materials are produced and approved, they're stored in our warehouse and ready to use. All future orders - both your sample orders and your customers' orders - will ship according to our standard timeline:

  • 24-48 hours: Processing and packaging

  • 3-12 business days: Shipping (destination-dependent)


How can I track my order status?

You can monitor your order's progress in your Branvas dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Branvas account

  2. Navigate to Customer Orders (for customer orders) or Sample Orders (for samples)

  3. Check the status and tracking information.

Note: Your tracking number will sync automatically to your Shopify store once the order ships. It may take 2-3 business days after shipment for the carrier to scan and update tracking information in their system.


Can I see what my packaging looks like before it ships?

What if I'm in a rush?

We understand you might need products quickly, especially if you're:

  • Launching a marketing campaign

  • Fulfilling a time-sensitive customer order

  • Sending samples to influencers or press

If you're working against a tight deadline, please contact our support team as soon as possible at [email protected]. While we can't eliminate the production time entirely, we'll do our best to expedite your order and keep you informed every step of the way.


Pro tip: Plan ahead for your launch

To avoid delays when you start selling:

  1. Place a sample order first with your branding before you launch your store

  2. Wait for it to arrive so your branded materials are already produced and in our system

  3. Launch your store knowing all future customer orders will ship at standard speed (24-48 hours + shipping)

This way, your first customer order won't face production delays, and you'll have samples on hand to create marketing content and evaluate quality.
