Branvas does not publish exact stock quantities anywhere. The only reliable test of availability is whether the item can still be added to an order — if it can, it is in stock.
Ignore the inventory number in your Shopify admin
The quantity you see against Branvas products in Shopify (often 1,000) is a placeholder, not a live count. Stock is managed on the Branvas side, so that number will not go up and down with real availability.
When a product is temporarily OOS, we change the inventory number of that product to 0, so your customer cannot place an order on this product. Do NOT manually change the inventory number of Branvas products.
If products show "Sold out" in your store
If all or most of your Branvas products suddenly show as sold out, this is almost always a store-side setting rather than real stock. Work through these in order — the first is by far the most common cause we find.
Check the Branvas shipping profile. In Shopify, confirm your Branvas products are still inside the Branvas shipping profile. When products get moved out of it, they show as out of stock. Move them back, and keep them there, or the problem will return.
Reset the shipping setting from Branvas. Go to the Connect Store tab, open your connected Shopify store card, click Change next to your shipping setting, pick a shipping setting, then click Save and publish to store.
Check inventory tracking on the product. Open the product's Inventory section in Shopify. Track quantity should be on and Continue selling when out of stock should be off.
Check the location. Make sure the product is assigned to an active location in Shopify.
Check every variant. Variants carry their own settings, so confirm each one matches.
Restock dates
There is no guaranteed restock date for an individual piece, and we cannot reserve or pre-book stock. When an item comes back, it simply becomes available again and syncs through the Branvas Shopify app, so it is worth re-checking the catalog rather than waiting for a notice.
New products
New products are added to the catalog on a regular cycle rather than to a fixed calendar. If a piece you want has been unavailable for a long time, email [email protected] and we will tell you what we know.
